Practicing yoga is always a calm and peaceful experience and if you can get an opportunity to practice amidst the serene and natural environment of the Himalayan mountains it would make your experience and practice all the more blissful and rejuvenating. our ancient forefather and yogis of antiquities used to retire to the refuge of the divine mountains achieving their blissful self realization and ultimately achieving their union with the almighty , the scenic beauty and the vegetation of the Himalayan mountains is heart touching and rarely found anywhere else . It is in itself a peaceful and calm place inducing healthy thoughts and refreshing each and every moment spent here.
Practicing yoga in the Himalayas while travelling the mountainous region along with fellow practitioners and teachers enjoying the unique blend of peace and the hospitality of the hill people while improvising and practicing each and every day in the lap of the divine Himalayan range is no less than receiving true blessings from the gods and nature itself. That’s why this divine mountain range has been the home for yogis since a very long time while mentioned again and again in the scriptures for it’s virtues and magnificence.
Duration - 5 Days and 6 Nights (Cost - 550 USD. $) (includes shared accommodation, trip to the Himalayas , 3 meals a day and conveyance throughout the stay)
Day 1- the journey begins since morning moving towards the country side having a healthy breakfast on our way while we arrive at our first destination covering the hilly areas and beautiful natural flora and fauna. After relaxation with yoga Nidra having dinner as we go off to sleep. Starting our Journey in the morning time towards country side. Having breakfast on the way. While arrive on the destination in the evening, then relaxing with yoga nindra (guided sleep) then dinner.
Day 2- Early morning yogic practice of asanas followed by pranayam followed by breakfast and then moving on for sight seeing in the local areas. After the excursion coming back to our point of stay for a delightful lunch while retiring to relax a bit followed by evening time practice and mantra chanting finally concluding with evening dinner and off to bed
Day 3- next day again rising up early morning with practice of energizing prana power yoga followed by breakfast and then having a light chat about the lifestyle of Himalayan people. Then afternoon lunch and retiring to some relaxation as evening yoga practice commences further while finally we conclude the day with dinner and having a spiritual session among all ( SATSANG), then retiring to sleep.
Day 4- an early morning trek to one of the peaks followed by practice of pranayam. After that having a light breakfast and then coming back to have some lunch where we stay then relaxing a bit and having dinner in the evening finally going back to bed Early morning trek to the Himalayan top followed by pranayam practice. Having lunch on the way and coming back to where we stay. Having dinner in the evening and retiring to bed.
Day 5- the day begins with kundalini yoga practice followed by a healthy breakfast after which an adventurous trek into the woods witnessing the various natural herbs and plantation of the Himalayan region. After coming back till noon having lunch followed by some rest and then laughter yoga session while this evening having a light snack around a bonne fire and finally retiring for sleep.
Day 6- early morning practice of yoga followed by breakfast and then leaving back for rishikesh the very same day
